It’s time to focus on regionalism
Long Island is a region sadly short on regional thinking, but a new leadership institute unveiled yesterday at Molloy College, with the help of a savvy politician-businessman-theologian, is a good state toward curing that lack.
It’s name is a mouthful: The Energeia Partnership — The Academy for Regional Stewardship at Molloy College. But its purpose is simply stated: to call together and train young leaders to confront and move toward solution of the most urgent problems that trouble our region.
